6 Islands Safari

This exhilarating expedition takes you to the most scenic parts of the Hauraki Gulf on a guided trip on one of our new Yamaha Jetskis!

Duration:   4 Hours

As you embark on the beginning of this incredible adventure from Big Manly beach, you will make your way north of Whangaparāoa Peninsula to the stunning Motuora Island (30 mins) to admire views like none other, and a chance to drop the anchor, cool off and have a swim or snorkel in the crystal clear waters. Then it’s off to Moturekareka and Motuketekete Islands (10 mins) where you can admire the Rewa shipwreck. Moturekareka sits next to Motuketekete and the two islands are separated by the Blanche Channel. The Rewa shipwreck can be found on the north western side of Moturekareka Island, creating a small sheltered bay behind the wreck, where we can once again disembark, drop the anchor and have a swim. The Rewa was at 309 feet long and 3,000 ton the largest four masted steel barque of its time and lies now half submerged.

Finally, we are off to experience the history and natural wonder that is Kawau Island (20 mins). On the way we marvel at the stunning beauty of Taungamaro or Beehive Island with its beach that stingrays and cormorants call home, drive past Dispute Cove for a photo with the industrial ruin of the old copper mine’s chimney before having lunch and refreshments at the stunning site of Mansion House and Bay Café.

During this safari we explore some of the most beautiful, secluded beaches New Zealand has to offer, as well as the possibility of witnessing wildlife from jumping kahawai to stingrays, whales and dolphins before making our way back south to the launch location on Whangaparāoa Peninsula (60 mins).

You won’t want to miss this adventure!
