Christmas staff jet ski experiences normally depart and operate from Big Manly Beach on the Whangaparāoa Peninsula, approximately 40 minutes north of Auckland’s CBD.
Alternative departure locations may be available by prior arrangement, depending on your group, preferred destination, weather, marine conditions and the suitability of the operating area. Please contact us to discuss the options for your event.
Our team will meet you at the launch area, where you’ll receive a full safety briefing and be fitted with life jackets before heading out on the water.
Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled start time.

How many people can attend a Christmas staff function?
We can arrange experiences for small workplace teams and larger company groups. Up to four jet skis can operate at one time, with larger groups participating through structured rotations.
Does everyone need to ride a Jet Ski?
No. Participation can be flexible. Some team members may ride, while others watch, take photographs, socialise or support their colleagues from shore.
Can two people ride together?
Yes. Team members may be able to ride together, subject to the combined weight limit and operating conditions. Each Yamaha Jet Ski can carry up to three people with a maximum combined weight of around 190 kilograms.
Do participants need a Jet Ski licence?
No Jet Ski licence is required. Drivers must be at least 16 years old and complete the safety and operating briefing.
The person entering the hire agreement and providing the required payment details must be at least 18.
Can you accommodate complete beginners?
Yes. Many of our workplace guests are riding a jet ski for the first time. We provide clear instructions and allow participants to begin at a comfortable pace.
How long should we allow?
A smaller team may choose a 30-minute or one-hour experience. Larger groups using rotations will require more time.
We will recommend a realistic event length after discussing your group size and preferred activities.
